Families
and friends from all nine schools and across the demographics came to
the Carnival bringing attendance over the three day event averaged
1000
people per day.
Proceeds
will benefit the Visual and Performing Arts Programs across the
District.
Rancho Santa Fe
Review, Coast News, and NBC 7/39, came out for a look at EEF in
action; we received kudos from Rotary Club, and interest from
community organizations to collaborate next year. Sally Foster,
Provost at MiraCosta College,
San Elijo, expressed her admiration of our Foundation and is already
talking about plans for next year! The Battle of the Bands was
entertaining for all with various local teenage bands performing for
the audience.
A special thanks is
given to the tireless volunteers from all nine schools, who came
together to produce an exciting, highly visible, fun, and creative
event. We have a lot to be proud of and can hold our heads high as we
approach EEF’s 20th year anniversary of advocacy efforts
for the elementary school children of the Encinitas Union School
District.
Please
contact EEF with your ideas
and comments regarding the Carnival or let us know if you are
interested in joining our efforts!
