What makes the Encinitas Educational Foundation valuable to Encinitas?

While meeting basic educational needs of students is the state minimum standard, virtually all local communities aspire to a higher standard.  In order to augment basic programs with visual and performing arts, technology (typically computer labs), and other supporting programs, it's necessary for volunteers to raise additional funds from within the community.  Educational foundations across the U.S. bridge this gap between basic and better every day through effective partnerships with local businesses, foundation grants, individual donations, and other fundraising programs.
