MOBILE MEDIA LAB PROJECT

The EEF Mobile Technology Van is a service funded by the Foundation through various fundraising events and 5% General Fund donations. The technician provides desktop and other IT support at all nine campuses.  EEF Mobile Technology Services supports more than 985 classroom computers and 6 computer labs across the District which average 20+ computers in each lab.

EEF has been able to provide each school with at least 150 additional hours of technology support... this valuable service saved each school site more than $11,000 each!  These funds would have come from their individual School Site funds without EEF support.

This program has been an overwhelming success and enabled EEF to present a check for $77,000 to the EUSD to continue the Mobile Technology Services that supports all nine EUSD schools in just a single year.  The chart to the right shows how many dollars schools would have spent out of their SITE funds had each school paid for these services… a total of over $108,666!
